Glass Top Blackouts

Now that my air is fixed what is the best way to block out those glass t-tops? Ecklers has the black outs that are held in place with static cling. Mid America has some that are thicker and are held in place with plastic clips. I'm kind of leaning to the thicker ones even though they cost more. Anyone have any experience with these products.
