1978 Coupe , Looking for GM part # 471997-8 (Winshield Glass Filler) located in assembly manual, (1) Body, section B01-B12, sheet # 23. Getting ready to paint car and will be installing new weather stripping. Not a show car, just want do it right. One of those missing puzzle pieces. Thanks!!!!

Appears to be a special piece of weatherstrip that is fastened to body by two screws and the upper end tucks under the front window moulding on lt and rt sides. I can see where it belongs on my car. Fills a void there. I'll see if I can scan the page out of the manual and send it later. Thanks for reply...

Well this is going to be very interesting 'cause I could use a couple of windshields in the collection. haven't had the courage to proceed yet, now there's a money problem too

Ace, digging thru catalogs and found the part I need at CC. Their part # is 633605. I'm sure other jobbers have it also. Big parts are easy to find.Guess I was looking with tired eyes . Car should be painted and on the road by May. Thanks again.
