hecko,

Can someone please provide me with the name & address of a Gauge Restoration Company. I need to send out my speedo, tach & clock, & possibly my smaller gauges.

Please let me know how you liked the work & the approximate prices.

Thanks,

Anthony

Contact Corvette Specialties of Maryland <http://www.corvettespecialtiesofmd.com>.

I've never used them but understand they have an excellent reputation.

Hecko,

My trip odometer is not working.  The tenths of a mile are ok, but the ones are not engaging...any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses. 2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
My tripometer works for the most part, but occasionally, when it tries to go from 099.9 miles to 100.0, it gets hung up and doesn't move.  When I first bought it, it was hung at 299.9 miles.  Any ideas?

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

I think the trip odometers are right up there with clocks in Corvettes as to not working.

I ended up sending all of my gauges to Roger Scott @ http://www.corvetteinstruments.com.  I have had several reccommendations from him & his prices are fair.

He does most of the resto work for Corvette Central & Ecklers.

As for the "hecko," I still can't change it to hecko after 3 edits.  Maybe I'll use it in all my posts, kinda like Joel & "kewl."
