This may have been covered sometime in the past, but I don't remember seeing it. Does anyone know the resistance for the fue gauge? I believe it's 0 ohms empt and 90 ohms full. This I believe is for all post '65  GM's. My printed circuit board is givin up the ghost, and I am not a fan of electrical gauges to start with. So, gonna change to mech. oil and temp, using a piece of carbon fiber to hold them behind the original panel. So, out will go the stock gauges.

Thanks, Dave

Apparently you have come up with something no one knows about. I didnt think it was possible. Or the guy that knows the answer is in Cancun passed under some table.

Yes, your correct with 0 ohms empty, and 90 ohms full for most standard GM senders.

0 to 90 is correct, but just to add a bit, 90 will read at empty.  An actual 0 will read a bit past full.  Dead on full is around 10 or 20 ohms.
