Body straps are available from the supporting venders. I would offer to loan you mine but someone else has them right now. The biggest thing is to make sure the rocker channels are in good enough shape to hold the strap hooks. Big Fish had to run straps under his body to lift his off.

If you are planning on doing a complete disassembly of the vehicle, i.e. gutting the interior, I would recommend that you stay away from body straps. If you don't have the lifting block situated just perfectly, the body will shift when you lift and it could damaged the fiberglass, or worse, fall and squash you. If you have some friends that you can persuade to help you, beer works as a good persuader, have 3 of them, and yourself lift the body up and then set it on body jig or wherever you plan to store it. When you take everything out and off, doors included, the body doesn't weigh hardly anything, it's just bulky.
