OK..dealing with this 76, the Urethane rear bumper was gone but car came with a one peice glass purchased from..um i forgot but anyway..oh paddocks ok my Q is this

when I trial fit the one peice onto the Bar Asm the tail lamp molds bump up against the tail lamp panels ( mounting brackets 4 lamps ) preventing a good fit, like 3/8 gap between bumpr and car

Now I was thinking of notching half circles out of the tops of the tail lamp panels to allow the molds to slide up or could I just eliminate the panels because the lamps could bolt right on the backs of the tail lamp molds of the new glass bumper.

Anyone else had this issue and what was the fix?

Either way it looks like more custom fab ...hmmm my life story

Mike
