I am installing original 79 radio, taking aftermarket unit out. When I get the lower shift plate out, will the top dash plate come off?
All phillips screws out of top piece, dash light wires undone. I see a left and right flange holding upper unit to lower unit in assembly mamual.
Anything else to help is appreciated.
