Fiberglass & Tru-Flex/Flex-Fit Bumpers

Hey Everybody,
I'm planning to strip and paint my '77 soon and want to put new bumpers on front and rear while I'm at it. I have a tru-flex bumper on the front already, but never really fitted it. The urethane cracked into a hundred pieces and I quickly put a few bolts on to hold the tru-flex bumper on. I've read that you can use common fiberglass resins to fit/fix them and I was wondering if anybody has done that and how it works out? Also, anybody try to glass them onto the body of the car so the seam around the bumpers would be eliminated?

If it was me and I wanted seamless, I'd go with fiberglas bumpers! I've seen bumpers, ground effects,and spoilers all seamless and it's sweet!
