Exterior issues!!!

I just purchased an 80 L-82, and noticed that it doesn't have an emblem. The color of the car is white, and I was once told that white 80's didn't get emblems put on them. I am just trying to keep it as original as possible. I also noticed that there is a tie down on the front end as well. I haven't noticed them on any other 80 vette. Did people usually cut them off, or was it maybe added for tie down and trailering purposes??

Welcome to the C3VR!!!! I am not quite sure of what you mean by "tie down." What does it look like? As far at the emblem issue goes, someone else might have to chime in here,afraid I can't help you there.
