hello again, my 74 has no emblems on it, is it suppose to have one on the front, a stingray on each side, and a 454 on each side of the hood. I don't understand my car, it's black which wasn't offered in 74, it has no emblems or signs that it did, and it has pinstripes, what gives????? Thanks

74's had the same nose emblem as the 73's. They also has the Stingray side emblems. I believe some had the 454 emblems on the hood but I don't know if they all did. There was no gas tank door emblem. I think that was the only year that it was not used.

Your car was repainted so maybe it was repaired due to an accident and the body shop either intentionally or unintentionally left off the emblems. Maybe the owner didn't like them.

Sounds like for some reason the previous owner got rid of all the emblems and filled the holes. You should have emblems in front, gas tank flap, C-O-R-V-E-T-T-E letters at the back and Stingray emblems on each front fender.
