Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!
I bought a inexpensive mirror from Mid America if memory serves.  It has a template with the mirror that worked very well.  Maybe you can get one from them.

I got to drive it from the body shop to the tire shop and back. Appx five miles.

1 does not like 28 degree weather. Ran like crap until it warmed up. Though maybe just cabin fever from sitting so long.
2 steering is very quick. Turn signal doesn't cancel unless you make a sharp turn.
3 engine started smoking because of finger tightened valve cover bolt on passenger side :-)
4 I couldn't figure out how to get the wheels to not spin in first. Even sitting in front of a cop at a light I couldn't keep the wheels quiet.
5 loses rolling traction effortlessly through 3rd (i.e. Punch gas while coasting in 3rd), never got going fast enough to try 4th.
6 installing RetroSound stereo was a complete waste of money (pipes too loud).

I'm just glad the guy with the blue lights had something better to do.  It would have sucked to get a ticket the first day.

Vette looks sweet Ben. Well worth all your effort. Just FYI. the roar of the Motor with those pipes. Is the music. I wear ear buds and still get drowned out. Radio is for parking. enjoy
