Joel and Gurtz, this is 79 and should be same for 80-82.(left the pic big for some clarity) The electric fan wire actually plugs into the fuse box from the front under the fuse.

I appreciate the info and pics!  The port it came plugged in has no markings on it or in the GM manual.  I will try in the IGN and/or BAT areas after I pull the box apart and check for damaged wires.
