Mike.

Thanks bud! Exactly what I was looking for. The "genius" who had the car before me just had random fuses jammed in there...many 15A in 20 and 25A spotsDisapprove

Just fixed my courtesy lamp problem as well. Wink

Thanks again!

Kool stuff man. Shane do suggest a dealers repair manual for tracking wire harnesses. I don't know if its exactly what you may need. But those wiring diagrams are excellent for tracking wires. If the harness is a correct one the color coding really helps. Made my rewireing a snap. Just FYI Thanks

OH PS a AIM is a help also.

I've figured out most of the wiring inside the car...but the compressor switch on the A/C control panel is shot...Ecklers has it on backorder doh. I did however get the USA-1 aftermarket stereo ordered so I can keep my stock console.

The under-the-hood wiring is another story. There are random wires that have been tapped into and just left hanging. My electric choke wire is tied into the A/C blower motor resistor Disapprove...just some crazy back-yard-mechanic electric work to dig through.

The dealer repair manual is a great idea....I'll look into tracking one down. I have the assembly manual...but the schematics are not that great (1970's technology Tongue )...any products that will help me track down the origins of some of my random wires would help quite a bit.

Thanks again for all the help guys...this is my first project car, and everyone here has been extremely patient and helpful.

Shane good choosing the USA-1 thats what I installed and it was very easy to hook up. I just need to figure out how to hook up my IPOD next. The wiring under the hood I would suggest replacing the whole thing and they are a little pricey but worth it to me. Bubba can really screw one up. Just my thoughts
