The electric locks do not work on my 82 (haven't since I bought it.) Is there a source of information that will help me troubleshoot this problem?

The locks are pretty simple. I have e-mailed ya a diagram.

I just got my door locks working. I bypassed the connector and found a bad ground wire at the connector in the passengers door. Working great! Good luck!!!
