Hmmmn..... I like da sound of the Fireturd motor bein used.

Nylon gears strippin? I have a friend who is a machinist who could fix that in a heartbeat. (He designed the wxhaust bending machine for GM's Z06 exhaust system.)

Plans man plans.... where can we find dem plans?

I would like input on wiring. everything is installed and ready to wire, of course i lost the instructions so could use some input. red goes to power, where is everyone going for this, black of course ground and then I have a yellow which I believe goes to side clearance light. let me know what others have done. thanks.

I think the vacuum system is just as good as an (expensive) electric replacement. The vacuum units are relatively easy to fix if/when they do malfunction.

Well got it figured, wires were wrong coming from headlight motor, from the manufacturer. Switched wires and all good. Yay

FYI, this is a super old thread started in 2009, hence why the post at the top is so messed up.
Plus, it's worth noting that Ecklers doesn't even sell this part any more.
