Looks like a great product but, out of reach for most of us Unhappy. I'll put it on my wish list though.

I have instructions for the Do-it-Yourselfers using Firebird motors.  Cheaper (if you can find the parts).  I plan to do it . . . .

Say Mike, Any chance you might share those plans with the rest of us if your project works out? Or, may I ask where you got the plans from? I have vacuum issues with 2 of the 3 vettes.

BE CAREFUL WITH THE FIREBIRD SYSTEMS. i USED TO OWN ONE. THE NYLON GEARS TEND TO BREAK ALOT. NOT A MAJOR FIX BUT AN INCONVENIENCE

I got an e-mail from Ecklers and saw this also. Rik's has it for 5 bucks cheaper (wow). The price will have to come down before I can get it.

Im not looking to convert but have seen the directions, sort of, on another forum, it sounded pretty involved and  not a quick install from what I read. Anyone have more information on the firebird system?

$1,000??  It looks like the price is more on the hype of the new product than the value of the parts...ShockedWackoDead

A $60 vacuum line kit has mine snapping up and down on command. No conversion in the plans here.Smile

I think you wouldn't even spend 500 buck if you replaced all the headlight/vac system parts. This is just another over priced Corvette item. Just because you own a Vette does not mean you can pay these crazy prices. If this price was realistic they would be selling a bunch of these kits.
