I just bought a 1978 and the clock was dead. Just installed a NOS unit from ISS in Illinois but when I install it also has not power. All other items on same fuse work so I am out of ideas. Any suggestions? |headscratch|

Another long shot, does your cigarette lighter work? I thought the same thing about the clock on my '69, checked the book and everything on the same fuse worked (didn't check the lighter). I replaced the fuse for the lighter and the clock started working. The book was wrong! The previous owner said he had tried for years to get the clock to work with no luck. But then he wasn't a smoker (neither am I) and wasn't as fanatical as I about every last accessory working.

Other than that I've got nothin.

Thanks for the advice-unfortunately the Lighter works as well, so I'll have to keep trying.
