I have a GM urethane front bumper cover on my '74. If you're wondering about is it supposed to fit perfectly, the answer is no....they didn't from the factory. You can manipulate them some, to get a better fit in places, but it will never look 100% perfect, unless you massage the body to fit within the limits of the cover....

Likewise on my '74. Needed some stretch, but by setting it out in the hot summer sun and with a lot of tweaking, it actually fits better than the original. Good luck on your replacement.
