Frankie Yankovich...Nazareth...Chicago...Gene Tracy's Truck Stop #5...
know what, guys 'n gal? You've made me decide to keep these racks in
place after all.
After all--how could I live with myself, not being able to carry around all
that great music??
Envision the scene, if you will.....T-tops off, rallye's spinning, mighty L48
humming....
and polka tunes playing ! How much better could cruisin' in a Corvette
be?!?
So thank you, one and all, for contributing your thoughts to this thread.
But the 8-track racks will remain in place, for the enjoyment of C3-lovin'
generations yet to be born!
Polka Tunes KOOL! I'll be listenin to the POLKA BOYZ play Sunday afternoon in Zinzinnati, Ohio at the OctoberFest. They are AWESOME. We will be leaving Effingham bright & earlier in order to make the trip. We wouldn't miss it!
Never saw that one commin did ya?

I just heard that 8-tracks,and origial, holders are goin thru the roof.
Seems the Smithsonian is willing to pay big bucks for the 8 - Tracks and biggerfor the original holders.
Also Andrea Jolie isstarting a bidding war with Jennifer Anniston.
Initial offers will come ot at the openingbell on Wall St.

I actually have a few 8 tracks around here somewhere. They were a gag gift, but I like the music! In fact I like most of the music metioned here. And I have no shame! The radio that came with my C3 (not installed) is an AM/FM 8-track. If the darn thing works I think I will put it back in.
