Thanks Chip for the guidance.  I think it is really worth the effort to clean the connectors and sockets.  In a round a bout way, I've learned a lot about how the CFI works.

Thanks Bob R for the info...  I have found all that information in different places but, this is a great all in one source.  If I can get to the dump, shop and do a dozen more things first, maybe I can get to use the new garage to work on my baby....  I have to put up the C3VR calendar first!
