Vette(s): 1970 T-Top350/350hp numbers matching 4 speed. It's a mess and 1970 Convertible 4 speed.
I am still trying to get my check engin light to work. In my 81 shop manual on page 8A-85 there is a connector called C560. What is that? Does it have any thang to with CK engin light. In my car I dont have it.

Vette(s): 1981 Great White Shark. Red Interior, 350/190 hp. PS, PB (SS), A/C CC, T-Tops. Served three years in Active Duty Army, then Retired Air Force after 34 years! Badger State Vettes Car Club. 175,000 Original miles!! Now own a 1998 C-5!
If you have a 1981 Corvette, you also have the connector C560.  I see it in my shop manual.  It is located underneath the center consel.  Does the chech engine light come on when you turn the ignition on?  Maybe the light is burnt out (pain in the butt to fix, gotta take out center bezel.  I know, I have done it !!  If you want to talk about it call my cell phone:  414-379-0056.  Or I can call you if you send me your phone number.  You may have a bad ECM.  I have a friend here in Milwaukee that worked for GM for many years.  He was an engeneer and just happened to design the ECM that went into the 81 Corvette.  You can send e-mail to my aol account.

Ok I finally got it smog. I had to take out the ck engine light lens and splice together something from a 79. I found out if the smog technician does not see a ck engine light he can not fail you. So I made  look like it never had one.
