ecklers stinger hood

 Has anyone got the stinger hood from ecklers? I'd like to know how much additional room it'll give. have a 73 big block and am thinking about heads and intake change. Nothing to radical, might need 2-3 inch's.

Vette(s): 1969 Corvette Stingray Convertible. Just bought it from my uncle who owned it since 1971. Fathom green, green interior. 350/300, T400.

I've been looking at buying one too, I don't need any extra clearance, but I think it looks really cool.

Vette(s): 1976 coupe with a custom body and a 396 big block with nitrous installed. Runs great!!
Call up Ecklers and ask them about the hood.They would be happy to talk to you.

 Did that since the first post. Incase anyones interested in the answer,,,,, They said put a 3 &1/2 inch block in the drip rails along each side of engine. Run a string across the blocks and thats the hood height.
