As I said before on another thread, I'm in the market for a LT1 hood. I've narrowed it down to ACI and Ecklers. Does anyone have experience with either of these groups. Ecklers seems to have their own provider of Fiberglas.Thenprce of the hood at Ecklers is better, but I want a quality piece. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Jason

Hi Jason, I'm a fan of ACI, they are at Carlisle and have quite a display to look at. No idea about ecklers but it is an outsourced part I think?

ACI does all their own so your going right to the maker. I'm looking at bumpers from them right now, if you order anything from them they will truck it to the show for free....that will save you a few hundred in shipping costs. I'm sure you have checked out their site, looks like quality is big.

Guess you will have to come to Carlisle and meet some of us! Only three weeks away get that order in!

Vette(s): Sold them Both
I have been dealing with Sermersheims.  They seriously have their act together.  But you pay a bit more.  From what I understand, they are working from the original molds from the factory in most cases.  I ordered my entire front-end from them.  Excellant quality. Original type materials.  And the fitment is priceless. But as I said.  You pay for it.

Ebo, she's in the paint shop as we speak. Very sad she won't make the trip this year! Thus the need for a new hood. So this will be a looking, picture taking, and shopping extravaganza!
