Ecklers seems to have their own provider of Fiberglas.Thenprce of the hood at Ecklers is better, but I want a quality piece. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Jason

If you get it from Ecklers, save the receipt.  Friend's 66 got a new hood surround and had it painted three times because it kept showing little pimples after a few months.  Unfortunately the original shop no longer had the receipt so he was stuck.

chances r said: I have been dealing with Sermersheims.  They seriously have their act together.  But you pay a bit more.  From what I understand, they are working from the original molds from the factory in most cases.  I ordered my entire front-end from them.  Excellant quality. Original type materials.  And the fitment is priceless. But as I said.  You pay for it.

Your work looks excellent!

Thanks.  I have not had a whole lot of time to do anything on her in over a year now.  It pains me so.  But i am hoping to get my front end completely rebuilt and bonded on in the next few weeks.  Lots of little details to get done first.  Will try to update my pictures sometime today.  As I have been going to for quite some time. She is not perfect by any means.  But neither am I.
