I can not open the driver side door from the inside. The handle seems to be stuck. The door can be open from the outside. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like you're going to have to take the door panel off and investigate.  Maybe a rod came off and is jammed on something.

I'd hafta agree with that. Prolly one of the clips that hold the rod(s) to the handle, or latch, has broken. Time for exploratory surgery....Ouch

It's not a difficult job. Remove the screws from the door handle, power locks (if you have them) and all the hiden screws.
Once you have the panel off you can operate the handle from inside and see what is moving and what isn't.
When you get it back working, lube the moving joints and button it back up.

Pull the door panel, try "hosing" down the mechanism below the outside handle with a lube. Mine have done that and a lever of some sort deep inside was not sliding back into place when the door was shut to allow the inside handle to trip it to release.

Vette(s): 1972 conv, 4-speed, 350, 200hp, numbers match, rally wheels, war bonnett yellow w/white top. good condition, nice driver.
Thumbs Down   The cosmoline they used in 1968 to keep things slippery is now pretty sticky. Clean up the culprit with a good solution and grease it well. Good for another 40+ moons.

Okay, all fixed now. A small lever that slides was frozen. A bigger lever was bent because of the frozen lever. Thanks for your suggestions. Door opens now from inside, after greasing and straightening levers, like new.

I have the oposite issue. I can't open my door from the outside. I'm getting ready to take the door apart to see if I can find anything. Does anyone have any suggestions.
Thanks
