1981 with power windows
Is the only adjustment up and down with the two bolts you see it seems like the window need to actually come back a fraction and everything would line up? (by back i mean horizontally) it is paralell to the seal????

look at it from the top. You should see ww 4 bolts Loosen these and it should allow you to adjust fore and aft. Try here and go to the repair help link and they have instructions along with a diagram.

Vette(s): 1979, Targa Blue (72 Color), Pace Car rear spoiler, L88 hood, Dark blue factory interior, 525HP 406, HD 700R4, 370 gears,Steeroids, composite rear spring, TT IIs wrapped in T/A Radials.
There are several adjustments that you can make. A Chiltons manual has this spelled out very well and helped me immensely when I worked in my doors....
