I have removed the acess doors(inside) and can see the bolts that hold the hinges to the doors.Looks easier than I thought, but can see how easy it would be to damage new paint when re-assembling.Now the next question.I removed the outside handles and locks a year ago,and now only see alarm wires on one door only.No alarm wires in other door. Can someone verify that only one outside lock operated the alarm? And,since I'm not putting alarm back on car,do I simply cut and cap off the two wires, leaving them in the doors interior for the next guy to use.BTW,I have already removed the under hood alarm switch.NO NCRS car here, just some fun for the old guy.

The alarm wires should be in the drivers side door only if it is a similar set up to my 79. I didn't have to cap off the wires in the door. Left them connected and just disconnected the relay and flasher under the console. No problemo.

Paul is right, the alarm wiring is only on the drivers door on a 77. I left the wiring intact in my door as well......
