Is the door panel only held on with screws? Other cars that I have owned and worked on in the past have the plastic fasteners that go in the door and the panel pushes onto them. the panel is kind of unattached at the bottom front I tried to peek inside without pulling the panel off and I see none of those clips I was talking about. So is it just screws?

Vette(s): 1982 corvette crossfire production numer C5101985. Color is silver and claret. All original numbers match. slight mods to crossfire for better efficiancy and power balanced and added fuel pressure assembly between throttle bodies,
on my 82 its just screws. 3 on arm rest, one on door handle, one by the pocket and one on the other side of arm rest.

hope this helps

Whats even better that chevy put the ones near the the pocket and near the back of the car in various locations. They just screwed them in where they would attach to a piece of metal. I have new door panels and they hang well enough with the screws in the arm rests. I suppose when they start to hang away from the door I'll try to screw them into the door and hide the screws in the pockets.
