So I broke the top of the armrest off the other day. So here's my question.. is the armrest repair kit sold designed to fix this? I cracked the black inner piece that attaches the top of the armrest/pull to the door. I'm just not seeing how this makes the fix.

Dan, the repair kits for those door pulls should fix your problem. That's what they are designed for, since ALL of them will break eventually. Ouch
