A few years back I bought the Petronix Ignitor II electronic ignion along with the Flame-Thrower II Coil and now i want to replace the distributor and use the same coil if possible.

So now im looking for any suggestions on what distributor to go with.

(or what setup you have on your car)

Thanks

About a year ago I bought a proform billet dist and coil w/vacum advance. After months of ignition issues all is resolved HOT fire from this sucker always.

I think I paid about 150.00 for the whole deal from a guy on Ebay.

In my '73 I went with an MSD Tach Drive distributor with a 6A Ignition module. While I was at it I used a MSD Blaster II coil.

Vette(s): 1973 L-48 Coupe. Classic white with black leather interior.

MSD |thumb|. An added note - MSD tech support is nothing short of excellent. Also the tach drive distributer is fully rebuildable from MSD for around 75 bucks.

I'm a big fan of MSD.

I know pertronix now had replacement billet distributors. It may save you a buck or two if you want to replace your coil and wires. Not sure if they have one with a tach drive or not.
