Deluxe Door Panels

Hey guys, quick question...

If I have Deluxe Door Panels, does this mean my seats are Leather?

In the desert, would it be a lot better if I went with a Leather-Like covers instead of all 100% leather?

I was told the seat bottoms were leather, and the sides [bolsters] were vinyl for 77. I would say your interor has wheathered very well for a desert car. I like your horn cap, that was a recall item. I hope I can find one for my 77. Jack

Hey Jack,

I actually found out they are leather! Wilcox hooked me up with the info. There isn;t much wrong with em. THe armrests some one cut some dime sized hole in each one, and the carpet strips are musty. So I'm gonna take em to an upholstry shop and have em put new carpet strips on, and fix the dime sized holes. The horn button was  arecall? Why, did it cause a short? THe horn didn;t work when I had the car running originally. Why don't they make it anymore?

The horn cap was recalled because it caused a glare in the eyes to the driver. It was replaced with a black one. The original owner of you car probably disregarded the recall. I have seen them go for some good money on ebay.  Jack

This could be a money maker.... But I love that orig look, I've seent eh black one.. the flags are way different... and it looks like crap. I drove the vette in Desert sun with no problems, who makes this claim of glare?

  It is just something I read somewhere I don't know who made the claim. I was watching a horn cap on ebay it diden't meet the reserve. I know the guy was looking for $125.00
