Deck Lid Question

I just installed my convertible deck lid and the back right corner by the hinge needs to adjust down.   I thought it would be as simple as lower the hinge.  Unless I'm missing something, it's not as simple as I thought.  I loosened the bottom one bolt and tried loosening the top two bolts.  My problem is getting to the top two bolts.  How in the world do you get to the two top bolts?  Does it take a special wrench?  Am I going about this correctly?  Thnaks, David
