The guy who restored my 71 Vette years ago did not put decals on the storage compartment doors and did not replace the tire pressure decal.  Can anyone give me some guidance on exactly where to place these decals.  I just ordered the decals from Corvette Central.
Thanks!

They go on the bottom side of the doors.

The tire size/pressure decal is normally put on the center compartment, and the jacking instructions on the pass. side compartment. They should be installed so you can read them with the door open. However....they have been seen in either location, or all on one door, and upside down. It has also been seen on the doorjamb. The guys & gals at the assy. plant in St. Louis apparently had a big sense of humor!!

Thanks Joel!  Guess I can "do my own thing" when I install them.

Doesn"t the assembly Manual show EXACTLY where these go...?

Seems strange that EVERYONE does not own an assembly manual especially since the 1st step on repairting any Corvette seems to be dissasemble the entire freaken car...

Oops! Good point Bob.  I forgot that this information is probably in the assembly manual and I purchased one right after I brought the Vette home.  I'll check it out.  It has been over ten years since I worked on a C3 and senility is beginning to set in.
And you are correct in that step one of any C3 project is to disassemble half the car to gain access to whatever you wish to repair or replace!

Thanks for the help everyone!  I found the information in my 71 Corvette Assembly Manual  on Sheet B-1  (Duh, why didn't I think to look there?). Guess I am getting old and senile!
