I have recieved 2 lower left dash pads from Corvette America.  On both pads, the mounting points for the speedo are too short (over a 1/2 inch) which causes the gauge to come through the dash pad as opposed to sitting flush.

I also called Just Dashes about rebuilding mine, but they are not sure if they can do it.

Has anyone purchased a reproduction dash pad from anyone other than Corvette America or had one rebuilt by another vendor?

It seems that Corvette America is the major manufacturer of dash pads & most of the other major suppliers sell their parts.  I actualy got mine through Wilcox, their customer service regarding this issue has been great.

Thanks,

Anthony

Your're gonna have a hard time replacing the pad in a 68. I just kept looking on e-bay found one & bought it. It's because we don't have the ignition switch on the column.
