Hey Jim, to bad they don't make duct tape yellow. Then you can say it's a "rookie stripe" like they put on the rear bumper of a "newbie" stock car driver. |laugh|

Sarge |biggrin| just picking on ya.

Hey the silver stripe is just fine! The thing to remember is that its just temporary. Plus, your headed south so you wont need the top anyway! I don't know about you but I've put on 200 miles in the last two weeks with the top down in 55 degrees. Anything above 65 (spring in Wisconsin sucks) is warm at this point!! |biggrin|

Enjoy BG! |thumb|

Vette(s):
SOLD - "The Toy" - '70 Convertible
SOLD - "The Beast" - '90 ZR-1 (#682)
SOLD - "Betty" - '28 Ford Model A Tudor
SOLD - "BLKBRRD" - '78 Pontiac Trans Am
"BLUBYU" - '04 Coupe
Well after much wringing of wrists and knashing of teeth I decided to have the top installed by a pro. Did some shopping around, chased some referrals, and finally settled on a place. I'll be posting them in the Mechanics Directory also.

Dropped "The Toy" off last Monday and picked it up on Wednesday. IT LOOKS GREAT...!!! Sure is nice to see 'nothing' in the rearview mirror! And the gap on the top of the door windows is mostly gone so may play with that some in the future. Also will replace weather stripping sometime as the budget will allow. But for now I'm very happy with the improvement.

Thanks for all the info and help! |thumb|
