How can you remove the metal spade connectors in the little plastic part of the plunger switches in the door jamb area that activate the alarm, interior lights, and door buzzer so that the switches and spade connectors can be reused?

Thanks,

Bill

If I remember correctly its a real pain,  YOu have to push up on the wire connector while either getting the bottom or top to squeeze down.

The Brass end is v Shapped at the top.  I know Bairs (a sponsor on here) carry's the replacement wire spades.  I had a heck of a time trying to find them until I got a copy of their catalog.

Yours may be different than on my '74, but on mine, the terminals just go thru the plastic, and then are bent over. You do have to push the plunger end in to insert/remove/bend the terminals. They are pretty fragile, so you can't remove/replace them very many times, but there are replacement terminals available. Adams' Apple38597.8145023148
