color code location for interior on 1981???

Where is the location of the color code for 1981 . I have red exterior and cant tell what red interior I have????

It should be on the data plate on the door jamb of the driver's door.
It should say DR for dark red or MR for medium red.

You should find one of these codes on the trim tag, riveted to the hinge pillar in front of the driver's door.

I found the paint code on the drivers side door jam and it reads trim #752 and Paint #751. This I believe is Med Red. Thanks for all you help.Be the first to like this post

Must be a mis-print/typo in the NCRS spec book. 
I show the med. red leather interior as 772.
In the "Black Book", it shows 752. Go figure!
