Hmm.... I bought a 1970 colour chart on E-Bay. It arrived today and I'm a little confused. There is a little colour square marked Ontario Orange but the square is kind of a brown/bronze colour. Also there is no Corvette Bronze listed in the chart.
So.... This chart is either a botched reproduction, was incorrectly produced in 1970, or I don't know what I am doing.
Anybody have a 1970 colour chart, and knows what's up with this?

I tried the URL and got a blank page. Did I type something incorrectly?

Thundero,
The chart he referred to above just shows that 987 Ontario Orange was not a listed color in '70. 3 out of 4 people who see my '71 call it bronze but it's true ontario orange. I know that 987 Ontario Orange was the same in '71 & '72 -- & it was called a "firemist color." When I hold a paint chip up to mine it's really right on. The actual corvette copper in '70 had more of a reddish cast to it. You can see one listed at Proteam Corvette (http://www.proteam-corvette.com/cars/108S.htm) Hope this helps!
~ Joe
PS -- The color chart you bought may be for the '71 model year but may have been printed in '70. The color also may be off given that it's 32 years old.
