Has anyone here ever tried adding chrome fender trim? If so how did it look ? Where did you buy it? If you have any pictures please send them to me.

I also have never seen it on a C3 or found anyone selling any such chrome trim. You could maybe buy after market universal chrome trim from like J.C.Whitney, but I do not think it would look that good. Fender pin-stripes might look better if you are looking to accent the fender lines.

Saw it once. Didn't like it. Looked totally out of place....

I never saw it either, but I have put the trim on some '70s cars I have owned. I am tending to believe the body lines would not enhance the trim. The lines already draw the eyes. Just some good chrome rims will do the job. I just thought I would run it past the forum. I did get the chrome fuel door and chrome rear deck grill and that will suffice. I decided to go with the motion type stripe also.

I do like accent pinstripes along the fenders, done tastefully.
And of course, wavy banner flags draped across the hood are nice.
