My 78 came with an extra set of glass tops which were a freebee since I didn't know I was getting them. Was told by seller they where cracked. One is broke on square corner and the edge trim piece kind of holds it together. The frames and latches are good. Can they be sent out somewhere for glass replacement or is it not worth it compared to full replacement cost? They work fine, the break is outside the seal, one just looks kind of crappy.
Thanks, Jeff

They can be re-glassed. I can't think of the companies that do it off hand, but it can be repaired.

Hey Jeff here is a link to a company that can repair your top. I have one of their 1 piece tops in my C3 but can't speak of the T's. You may do better somewhere else but at least you have a starting point.
T Top Link
As you can see they run an ebay business too which you might get lucky and be able to pick them up cheaper from there.

Thanks for the lead, I'll check into it and let you know what I find out as far as repairing.

Jeff,
Either Corvette America, Corvette Central or Eckler's offers it. I am not at home, but I did see where they refurbish it in the T Top section of their catalog.
good luck, gurtz

I have seen a booth at Corvettes at Carlisle that offers to buy old tops, repair your tops and sell used tops, so I know they can be repaired.
