Having just finished recovering my 79 seats with 100% leather items from wilcox, I have been offered a set of all leather adjustable seats from a c5, the drivers one is electric. The wife complained about the lack of adjustment with the original seats. My question is will these c5 seats fit to the original mounting holes in my vette and is a live and an earth all that is needed to make the drivers seat work? tia

I have been considering the same conversion. Here is a step-by-step from someone who did it:

Thanks for the info, it doesn't look that hard a job. The recovering of my old seats was probably more difficult. Still pondering on the c5 seats having done so much work on the originals, but again thanks for the links.

Sell the originals? Keep them for originality and sell for extra with the car? The advantages of having just recovered them are there.
