I have one quick question. I have a C3 radio, that I know is a 76 or less, but not sure of the year. My question is, are the numbers that are just above the slide bar on the front of the radio the date code for the radio, and how do you decipher them. The numbers are 7303275. Thanks, Jimmie

I tried the site you suggested and it seems that it has been removed. Jimmie

The only thing I can find that comes close are "68 radios. But none are a match.
730271, 7303211, and 7303201(adaptor for stereo)
The numbers in my book after 68 are alpha- numeric.
Double check your numbers, it may not be a vette radio.

My book also tells me that no date codes were used on Delco radios.
An example of a 76 number would be 61YFP1 or 61YFM1

Thanks all for your help. I have found that after 1968 the date and model of the radio is actually on a paper tag on the radio with alpha/numeric system to indicate, year, division, and what type of radio. 1968 and before they used a string of number to identify the radio.
