Look out for all the sharp edges your knuckles are going to find! The rear bumper cover goes on fairly easily, but the front takes a little more patience. If you're using the factory style retainers, make sure the holes in the covers are large enough to allow for movement, so you can align them better with the body. Don't expect a perfect fit, either, 'cause that ain't gonna happen Take the front grills out, and the lower valance w/ spoiler, and you should have enough room to fit your hands & wrenches up in there to fasten the cover on. It really just takes a little time to install the covers. I don't remember any "OH S**t" s when I did mine several years ago ('97), but I had a rigid 'glass cover ( 2 piece ) for the rear, and a NOS urethane cover for the front. The true-flex covers will be easier to move around for fitment than the solid 'glass type, but not as easy as the urethane. You should be able to install them with no surprises. Have FUN!!!

Wifey tapped the front bumper on something, I don't remember what, but the insurance still reflects it. The far coners gave me fits. I invented some new curse words gettin my hands up in there. Have patience.

I've got a 73 so I can only speak for the front truflex bumper.

Adams Apple about got it all covered. Remove the valance and you should have enough room to reach all the retainers, but your arms will find new bends and positions you never thought possible.

As for fit, mine was pretty close. Since I was refinishing the entire car at the time I was able to do a little body work on the car and the bumper to make an almost perfect fit.

Good luck, have fun and be patient.
