What would you guy's recomend? I can get new bumpers for $270.00 front, & $240.00 each for rears. I'd like to keep them original, but chroming would cost quite a bit more. Terry

I think it depends if you want true show quality chrome or oe quality for general driving and occasional show. Rechromer's like Paul's do only show quality chroming...I've seen their work and it is fabulous. You pay for that.

If that's more than you need, get new bumpers at the lesser price. I've been told that the primary supplier for new bumpers is the same supplier GM used and the bumpers are made on the same tooling as way back when. Now they just don't come with GM part numbers on them since they're not "genuine" GM anymore. They may be GM licensed parts, but I don't know that.

Determine what use your car is for and make your choice accordingly.

Now that your spending the money on new arrest me red paint then you will want the best bumpers you can get. Don't forget to post up some pics of the work being done so we can all be jealous.
