Since I've owned my '78, the oil pressure and fuel gauges bounce around sometimes. All other gauges work fine. I replaced the oil pressure sensor thinking this would be an obvious (and easy!) fix for the OP gauge, but to no avail. I'm now thinking the PCB is the culprit. Any other ideas?

Off the top of my head I cannot remember if the later models with the PCB(printed circuit board, '75 & up) had resistors fitted to the gauge connectors, but, a bad/failing resistor will cause the gauge needle to flop around like that.

I believe the printed boards started in 76. Wish my 75 had them. . .

20 bucks for a new one on Amazon. Or $46 on Top Flight/Corvette America.
