I am looking for a Lord's Manual Cartridge Dispenser M/N 301.
It dispenses a dual cartridge, 300 ml size.
I will Pay shipping fee, beg, borrow not steal it from anyone who has one.
Any suggestions gladly accepted.Big%20smile

Is this like a 2 part epoxy thing and in what industry is it most commonly used ? Construction, wood shop or metal working like machining. Is that a particular brand ?

The Manufacturer is LORD, the material is a two part cartridge system, the material is exclusivly used in autobody repairs. The dispensing gun Model number is 301. The dispenser is made specifically for the cartridge.

This system has been recommeded by other C3VR members and BAIR'S. www.lord.com

They have a distributor locator on their web site.  Just type in your zip code and a local shop should come up.

Sorry 'bout all the questions, I run a tool rental store and thought I could help. I've heard of similar tools for other industries but that's not one I'm familiar with.

You might check 3M products. We used two-part epoxy in joined cartridges while I worked in the aerospace industry. We had the equivalent of pneumatic chaulking guns that accepted the twin cartridges. We purchased the guns from 3M. Hope this helps.

I actually I had a Hilti dual dispenser in my hand today at the jobsite. Won't work though.  Thanks Jim!

I called the local dist. but the gun costs $$$. Something I am limited with.
Thanks Steve!

SmileHey Scott, years ago when I worked on aircraft they only used rivets, cloth and dope! LOL Do you remember the 3M material type number you bought?

I feel your pain. Just about all of the adhesive manufacturers have their own gun. If you buy their mix, you then are locked into the gun specific for that material. This holds true in construction adhesives as well. Some use a "sausage" pack, others use a 2 tube configuration. Even the mixing nozzles are brand specific. The other, less costly option is to go back to the old fashioned way and use the can mix. Evercoat makes a bonding adhesive, I used Bailey's. Be careful, some are just for the SMC panels and others will only work on glass panels. The SMC adhesive will work on glass, but the glass panel adhesive will not work on SMC. The SMC bonding mix has a slower cure time which can be an advantage for fitting panels. You can even fashion a tube much like the way cake decorators do to "squirt" the mix where you need it, this is actually the way restorers used to do it before the mixing guns were available.
Feel free to email me if you need a little more help.

What I am about to embark on seems to be an open issue and that's OK.Wits%20End
The old rusted header bar (channel) behind the headlights un-bonded itself. I bought a new one to re-bond. I think you hit it right by going back to the can mix! Thanks Daveb12.Clap
Still open to suggestions.

Keep in mind, the steel header bar is riveted to a bonding strip which in turn is bonded to the surround panel. I would recommend replacing the rivets and then rebonding to the surround. If the header bar is too rusted, it can be replaced, several vendors offer them.
