In removing my body, ihave found the rocker channels to be totally rusted out plus the front and rear pillars are also in need of replacement. Has anyone dealt with this situation successfully and reaonably? Any experiences would be appreciated. |confusing|

Vette(s): 1971 Convertible. Currently in midst of a frame off restoration / LS1 - six speed conversion.
I have the same problem. Just finishing up my chassis, so I haven't tackled this, yet.

Is it possible to buy these pieces? THen you would have to unbond them from the glass body and realign everything and reglue/weld. SOunds tough. I suppose that you could also weld patches / braces around where the corners come toghether.
