Vette(s): 1971 T-Top Nevada Silver W/ Red Interior. 454 4-Speed W/ 3.55 rear end, Air, PB, PS, AM FM Stereo. 1979 T-Top Red W/ DoeSkin interior, L-82 Auto W/ 3.70 Rear end. Has PS, PB, PDL, AM FM W/ 8-Track,aluminum wheels, 69 Side Pipes. Original owner

RIK's is a good supplier, fair and competitive in prices. I have used them for years with no problems. They are located in central N.C. and ship daily by UPS, depending where you are located it should take only a few days for shipment if you use a credit card, longer if you use a check which has to clear their bank.
You should have no problems with the 81 door panels they should come to you without any holes cut in them.

Door Solenoids (SP?) are the power lock actuators that work the power locks in each door. They are both the same for either door and I think they are still available from Delco. I bought 2 a couple of years ago, around $35-$40 each. Part #22020256, hope this helps.

Thanks for the info on the door panels.Much appreciated.Question, would you , or anyone else out there for that matter,know what year power outside door mirrors were first available?
