I'm trying to get these dash pads in but they don't fit around the door sill very well and having trouble getting screws into hole on door sills. The pads are new from Corvette Central. They did'nt form them to go around the door sill well. Anybody had similar trouble or have any tips. I have a heat gun but that has helped only a little.
Thanks
Lonnie

I have an additional question, do the srews for the dash pad sides go through the holes in the body or is there some kind of tab pop riveted on that they go through? My aim book drawing is not very specific. It looks like my screws are a long way from the holes in the body. also there is two sets of holes.
Thanks Lonnie

I'm not sure what you're doing.  Dash pads do not mount to the door sills.  Kick panels mount under door sills.

You doing dash pads or kick panels?
