Hi All,
Happy New Year to all, -38 F this AM, looking forward to a warm summer in my 71. To that end, can someone point me to some locations where I can get some books that show "exploded" views of different assemblies?
For instance, the complete exploded view of the 1971 C3 headlight, front bumper, grill assembly? I see a ton of parts for sale everywhere, but I cannot tell where some of these parts go and my girl is down for the winter.
Any help would be appreciated, and thanks in advance!
Bob

Try doc rebuild, he has some good exploded views. Page 177 of his catalog.

You need to order an assembly manual, best investment you will make.

The factory AIM(Assembly Instruction Manual) is the best thing you can find for this. They are available from any of the Corvette vendors, and normally cost around $20. Check with some of our Supporting Vendors here, such as Rik's, Bair's, Corvette Specialties, etc.

Ummmm...... maybe something like this from Corvette America will help.
This is just an exploded view of the headlight assembly for an example. Their online catalog will give you these views on just about anything you search for.Tuxblacray 2009-01-04 12:34:54

if you get the assembly manual you can explode the pages yourself with a copier or a scanner hooked up to a computer. sometimes detailed pics are hard to make out unless you blow them up. just a thought.
